PwC Names New Leaders For Wealth Management Practice

PricewaterhouseCoopers has confirmed the appointment of Jeremy Jensen, Justin Ong and Steven Crosby as the new regional leaders of its Global Private Banking & Wealth Management practice WealthBriefing has learnt. The trio have taken over the leadership of the practice from long-standing PwC wealth management supremo Bruce Weatherill who has recently left the firm to pursue other opportunities. With Mr Jensen based in London, Mr Ong in Singapore and Mr Crosby in New York, the new leaders will be responsible for the coordination of advisory and assurance services to wealth managers in EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas respectively.
The regionalisation of the former global role demonstrates the depth of PwC's expertise in each of these regional markets, the firm says. The three leaders will be supported by a number of partners and directors in their regions who focus on the delivery of services specifically to private banks and wealth managers.
PwC says it remains committed to the wealth management sector and will continue to produce its bi-annual Global Private Banking/Wealth Management survey. The next survey is planned for 2009 survey and will build on the success of the last year’s in which 265 organisations across 43 countries participated.
